Dustin H. Chinn cut his first professional chops with the Northwest Asian American Theater in his native Seattle and eventually made the transition into sketch comedy. He was a member of the Peeling
performance collective. Dustin has studied longform improvisation at the Peoples Improv Theater and Magnet Theater. He’s written and performed with the 52nd Street Project, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Second Generation Productions and Vampire Cowboys’ Saloon Series. In 2015 he was awarded a commission from the Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Project to write about Herschel, an infamous sea lion who terrorized the waters of Seattle’s Ballard Locks in the mid ‘80s.
